Orsu LGA Throws Weight Behind Governor Uzodimma, Endorses Him for Re-Election

In a resounding show of support, the residents of Orsu Local Government Area have officially endorsed Governor Hope Uzodimma for reelection in the upcoming Imo State Governorship election slated for November 11.


The enthusiastic endorsement was proclaimed during a spirited rally held in Owerri, where the apex leader of Orsu Local Government Area and Imo State’s Attorney General, Chief COC Akaolisa, conveyed the collective gratitude of the Orsu people for the governor’s relentless efforts to quell violence perpetrated by adversaries of the state. Akaolisa affirmed that the rally was a testament to the community’s contentment with the governor’s actions.


Promising the people of Orsu a recovery from the losses inflicted by insecurity, Chief Akaolisa expressed optimism that Governor Uzodimma’s reelection would propel Imo State to become the economic, industrial, and tourism focal point of the Southeast. He emphasized the governor’s commitment to advancing agriculture, education, and productivity for overall development.


In a unanimous gesture, the people of Orsu moved a motion, officially adopting Governor Uzodimma as their sole candidate for the upcoming November 11 Governorship election.

Chief Onyekachi Ezenwa, the Sole Administrator of Orsu Local Government Area, reassured the crowd that Governor Uzodimma would secure an overwhelming victory in Orsu.


Highlighting the governor’s achievements, Sir Terrence Onyejiaku, the Director General of Imo Data Management Center, reinforced the community’s stance, stating that the governor’s track record was the compelling reason behind Orsu’s decision to reelect him.

The event witnessed the presence of political heavyweights in the local government area, alongside women and youths, underscoring the widespread and diverse support for Governor Uzodimma’s bid for re-election.
